HErBALISM

Intro to Herbalism Workshops

For curious beginners, green-hearted folks, and anyone who’s ever wondered what to do with all those jars of dried plants.

These workshops are designed for people who are just starting out with herbalism or exploring it as a hobby. I’m not a clinical herbalist—just someone who’s fallen in love with plants and spent a lot of time learning by doing, experimenting in the kitchen, and reading late into the night.

We’ll cover the basics, including:

  • Brewing & Blending Herbal Teas
Learn how to make simple, tasty infusions and decoctions, and how to blend herbs by flavor, purpose, and intuition.

  • Tinctures, Salves & Infused Oils
Hands-on guidance for creating basic remedies at home with ingredients and tools you likely already have.

  • Individual Plant Profiles
Get to know common herbs one by one—their uses, energetics, traditional stories, and ways to work with them safely.

  • Herbal Support for Body Systems
A beginner’s look at how herbs can support digestion, stress, sleep, and immune health.

  • Making Friends with Plants
Building confidence, trust, and respect in your herbal practice through observation and curiosity.

These workshops are casual and beginner-friendly, with space for questions, laughter, and lots of sniffing jars. No prior experience needed—just bring a notebook, your favorite mug, and your green heart.
