Karen is a creative intuitive whose passion is to access, design, and deliver information. For the past 25+ years, she has designed information to create aesthetically pleasing and balanced works of digital art. Karen is a published author, with 2 mandala coloring books, 2 mandala workbooks, and a plethora of lined journals currently available on Amazon. For the past 5+ years, she has leaned into her intuitive side by working with energetic information in the form of the Akashic Records, as well as in the healing arts in the form of Reiki, and other energy modalities.
After holding the title of Graphic Designer in the corporate world since 2000, Karen opened her own business, Align by Design, during the pandemic of 2020. She combined both her creative and intuitive gifts to create logos, magazines, websites, mandalas, Soul Songs, coloring books, oracle cards, and so much more.
Karen is affectionately know as Kare-Bear (to distinguish her from the 6 other Karen’s that work at Minot Mist in varying capacities), and as the official MMC “Flyer Support Human”.
Karen's Teaching Role at Minot Mist:
Karen is a messenger of intuitive information and a connector of people. She uses her ability to tune into the energies of a person, place, or thing … and brings forth that which can help us to connect in a deeper and more meaningful way with ourselves, the world around us, and the world that exists slightly beyond our physical senses.​ This process creates a greater awareness within us, which in turn changes our perspective, which in turn ushers us into an entirely new way of BE-ing and interacting in the world.

At Minot Mist, Karen combines the creative and the intuitive into Mindful Art classes and practices. She also teaches classes that can assist our members to channel their own intuitive creativity into logos, flyers, websites, and more that represent the energy of their businesses.
